(Stevens Point, WI) – Recycle More Wisconsin (RMW), a program of the Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin (AROW), is offering organizations, businesses, municipalities and residents opportunities to celebrate and promote America Recycles Day by taking part in state and nationwide campaigns. Starting November 2nd, communities around the state will be participating in an organized online campaign to educate residents about the dos and don’ts of recycling.
“America Recycles Day, celebrated on November 15th, provides the opportunity to remind residents about the economic and environmental benefits of recycling including conservation of natural resources, tax relief and job growth.” stated AROW President Meleesa Johnson. “Wisconsinites make efforts every day to recycle more and recycle right, and we appreciate that. This campaign allows everyone in the state to get involved and share a consistent message about recycling.”
Starting November 2nd, the Recycle More Wisconsin Facebook page will initiate the statewide campaign, “12 Days of America Recycles Day,” by featuring tips each day leading up to November 15 and using the hashtag #12DaysOfARD. It is easy to participate. 1) “Like” RMW’s facebook page and invite your friends to like our page too. 2) “Like” the various 12 Days of ARD posts. 3) Share the posts with your friends and family and use the hashtag #12DaysOfARD. 4) Most importantly, act on the recycling messages you see to recycle right and recycle more!
